A complete approach to air balancing & airflow optimization
Air Balancing & Airflow Optimization is delivered as part of Sorena Energy’s Specialty Projects, Gas Piping & Custom Construction department. The work is planned around the building, the existing mechanical system and the result the customer needs—not a one-size-fits-all equipment recommendation.
Balancing reviews measured or observed distribution, registers, dampers, returns, equipment airflow and zone interaction. The connected controls, piping, ductwork, electrical supply, venting, drainage and equipment clearances are included in the conversation whenever they can affect performance or code compliance.
What the service review covers
Custom ductwork must match equipment airflow, room loads, available building space, return-air paths, noise targets, balancing and service access.
Before a scope is confirmed, Sorena Energy reviews accessible equipment information, operating symptoms, site access and the relationship between the requested work and the rest of the system. Existing conditions that could change the plan are identified early so the quote is easier to understand.
- Property and equipment requirements
- System compatibility and connected components
- Installation or repair access
- Controls, safety and commissioning needs
- Maintenance and documentation requirements
A recommendation that fits the property
The objective is a practical service path: repair when repair is appropriate, replace when replacement is justified, and explain any limitations before the customer commits. Options are compared using the actual system condition, expected use, comfort priorities, efficiency and future serviceability.
Where permits, utility coordination, third-party approval or work by another licensed trade may be required, that dependency is identified as part of the project planning rather than left until installation day.
Testing, handover and continued support
After the agreed work is complete, the relevant equipment and controls are tested under available operating conditions. Sorena Energy records the work performed, reviews normal operation with the customer and identifies maintenance items or conditions that should be monitored.
Final performance always depends on the complete building system and operating conditions. The handover therefore focuses on what was completed, what was verified and what the customer should know for the next season or service interval.
